Ethiopian Sidamo Coffee
Breathtaking buttery biscuit and heavy handed cocoa makes this a coffee to remember. Ethiopia, is the birthplace of coffee and it accounts for half of Ethiopia’s export earnings. Oromia’s coffee is shade-grown, organic and bird-friendly.
The coffee bushes are interspersed with plants such as cardamon, ginger, fruits such as mangoes and avacadoes and root crops such as sweet potatoes, whilst acacias and oaks provide shade.
This along with the fallen leaves, decaying plant matter and animal manure, enrichs the soil producing a higher quality coffee crop.
